Silk Way Airlines in an Azerbaijan cargo transportation company specializing in the provision of air cargo transportation services for the international logistic market since 9th October 2001. Construction project of the biggest and the most technically advanced cargo terminal in the CIS has successfully been completed in November 2004. "Baku Cargo Terminal" accepts and sends the freight from all over the world, including transit.

Presently, Silk Way operates seven Ilyushin IL-76, two stage 4 noise compliant Ilyushin IL-76TD-90SW aircraft equipped with PS-90A-76 engines (that ensure the compliance with the acting ICAO noise, emission and other environmental standards, which will also reduce fuel burn by 13-17%), three Antonov AN-12 and one wet-leased aircraft Boeing 747-400F.
