The opening session highlighted market access and traffic rights between Europe and Central Asia/Far East, assessing potential opportunities. Other sessions focused on major industry trends, the express market in CIS countries, the oversized market, market outlook CIS, the economic development in the Caspian region, and customs procedures.

Special attention was given to "Serving the Customer". BP Exploration gave the shipper view, with following presentations by Lufthansa Cargo and Panalpina. Perm Engine Company and Airbus presented their views on cargo aircraft development and availability.

The delegates had the opportunity to visit the Baku Cargo Terminal and also to enter the new Ilyushin IL-76-TD90 aircraft with noise stage IV compliant engines, recently delivered to Silk Way Airlines.
